So I opened bb maps for the first time and went to gps nav. After 10 minutes of searching for satellites I gave up and closed the app. Anybody else had this problem and is there a remedy for it? HELP Please!!!

The VZW phones can ONLY use VZW Nav with the internal GPS.
You could buy an external GPS receiver and then use the app of your choice.

For the Sprint addicts out there, BB maps, Google Maps and the built in Sprint navigation all work with the built in GPS. It's one of the coolest features that I <3 about my 8330!

Google maps would work the best I believe.
