I don't know that model, but unless you pay Verizon another $10/month, they will not turn on your gps. I purchased a separate little gps that does work with BBmaps.
Yogi - don't you wind up using DATA to get the maps even though you have the gps2000? The puck only gets "free" gps location data from the satellites but then to correlate with maps, bbmaps must use data to grab the maps, I believe.
