I'm using the vista and storm.

the desktop software already installed by 4.6

BB doesn't connect to computer.....

I did that option - connect option - select- usb

but it doesn't work...

pls help me~~

Try v4.7 of Desktop software. You stated that you are using v4.6.

4.6 should work for the storm too. Have you tried using other usb ports? You have also rebooted the pc and the storm? Uninstalling 4.6 and reinstalling or installing 4.7 is also worth a shot too. Does your storm appear to be charging when you plug in the usb?

Does the computer recognize your device if you use mass storage mode? It sounds like you may have a problem with the usb drivers.
