BB Curve Task Quesiton
I set my task in my BB for today at 5:30pm so that when i get home after work it will go off and remind me that I have some things that I want to get done, but after I saved it a few min later it popped up asking if i would like to label in progress or completed. I went back into the task and tried to save it as not started it says "The reminder cannot be set becuase its time has passed.: but I sent the time for 5:30 pm pacific time and its only 9:10am...Why is it doing this? Do I have to leave it as in progress and set the reminder for 9 hours and it will go off when I get home that way? How does this work
-
That is strange, make sure that the time and day are correct and when you goto save it mark it as in progress.
-
It is set a May 12th 5:30 PM so I am not sure what I am doing wrong here...
-
Ok delete that and try another one from start
-
Okay ill get back to you one second
-
Okay so here is what I have entered and lets see what happens...
Task name...
Status - Not started
Priority - High
Due By - date May 12th 5:30 pm
Time Zone - Pacific (-8)
Reminder - Relative 8 Hours
Recurrence - None
Categories - None
Notes - Filled in
SAVED...
Closed out of app
-
This may seems stupid but did you check the date in your berry settings? Maybe it's set wrong???
-
ok now it popped up TUES TO DO Mark as completed mark in progress or dismiss
Berry date 9:32 am Tue May 12th
-
Okay, I did this on my phone, I believe your problem is the reminder setting being 8 hours prior, which is what has already passed.
Try setting your reminder to 15 mins or something and see if that works.
-
Nope if you look above i had set it for 9 hours that didn't work so then i set it for 8 hours and that didnt work either
-
then i tired to set it for 945 am just to see what it would do. cannot be set because time has passed....huh!
-
I set it for 530pm reminder to go off in 7 hours... waiting a few min to see if same mesg pops up
-
If i don't set a reminder time, will it automaticly go off at 5:30 the time i set for the task?
-
First thing I would do is a battery pull & then try again starting a brand new task. If nothing else atleast all the trouble you're going through to remember your to do list should keep you from forgetting ;) lol
