N4BB reports Google Play store coming to BlackBerry, but even if BlackBerry has denied the fact Lucas from N4BB says:
" This feature will surely make BlackBerry 10 users immediately happy. You will literally be able to install almost any Android app. However, you won?t be able to make use of widgets, etc. ".

What does he mean " won't be able to make use of widgets ? "

Will Instagram and other Android Apps work on BlackBerry once your able to download ?

i think its the widgets like Zooper widgets/UCCW widgets. for those widgets are for customizing the homescreen of an Android phone.

I agree it would be more professional to install apps from BlackBerry world rather than having two separate stores. It's just too confusing and looks bad for blackberry

It says you can install the apk file. It says BlackBerry is denying the play store rumors.

During each apk install theres a disclaimer that warns you of potential risk. Therefore at the end of the day you have ability to click install or exit out of it if you feel at risk

I thought the Android RT was sand-boxed separately from BB10 core OS, hence it should be secured, but I am not sure.

I think what it is more than that they're going to allow straight APK installs is that it's a beta version of the runtime that isn't locked yet and people are jumping to conclusions.
