If the new Blackberry Venice is released with 2 diff operating systems, to which you have to choose one or the other..which one will you choose? I would love to stick with BB10..BUT only if we get Google Play Services also!

I don't use Google play services. However, I'll look at both of them and see which ones works. Regardless I'm sure the slider will be a definite hit

I wish it had rounded corners, with a polished metal frame..like a mix of the S6 and a LG phone, frame-wise..

If the BB10 version exists and it has no android runtime, which it probably wont....then that makes the android version the clear winner for me

Slider is not for me but I will get it for my son who is on his 3rd year with the Z10 and running it to the ground, lol. I would love Google Play on BB10. I am in love with the Classic form factor. And I have owned the Z10 too. I have an Android tablet, so I am fine with the status quo on my Classic.

Just watched the latest berryflow podcast: Blaize said it clear - BlackBerry needs BB10 for the highly regulated industries, so BB10 stays with us. I agree.

Yeah but if it isn't being improved then it is a dead OS, and that appears to be where we are at. Many of those regulated industries are looking at iPhone and/or have iPhones as an approved option now anyway. Android not so much. So while BlackBerry plays with Android and does nothing with Bb10, Apple will continue dominating in business and refining security.

Nope... Don't care what OS it runs... Definitely because Sliders are hideous in general... Form factor holds value to me... I love my pkb, but sure as hell don't want the device to mutate into something that's nearly a foot tall to access said keyboard... Not a device for me...

I think I would suggest to BlackBerry Venice Android. I had used BlackBerry Z10, from OS 10.2 till OS 10.3.2.2339, I can't keep using smartphone that the vendor don't update their apps in their store and lack of apps.

I feel your pain with the non-updates for the apps..but at the same time I don't want to trade my security for a few free apps. For example: I downloaded Twitter for my BB the other day for my business, it goes to ask for every single permission allowed! I quickly deleted it and will just use my browser..

For security concern people, BlackBerry 10 devices would be great. I am so far OK with Android.

I like BB10 OS and I'm pretty fluid with it as a user, so that would be the one I would choose to boot up.

I guess it depends how I feel after the announcement. If I feel bb10 will ultimately leave than I would rather future proof with their android experiment.. will be sad to switch but if bb10 only lasts like another year I don't want to buy a new phone again
