Battery opinions
I currently use 1500 mah battery which is doing well for me as it gives me extra few hours (or at least a day) before recharging. Although the battery door bows out very slightly, I took off the padding inside the battery door and now it fits quite well. With the standard, I had to recharge almost daily!! I'm just curious how many of you has this or that battery and please input your opinion about it.

Well, I have the 2600 mAh extended battery, and I need a charge only once in 5 days. Mind you, I'm not such a heavy user as some others. But I love the battery door too... it is nice and grippy/rubbery and the protrusion makes it easier to hold. Plus, it doesn't add too much extra weight as I can still comfortably keep the phone in my shirt chest pocket if I need to (but I usually keep it in the unskinned clip).

I use the standard. I am always around a charger at home, work and in the car. Although I am a heavy user, especially out of work, I need to charge once at night, but I usually charge whenever I can in case I don't go home or forget to hook it up to the charger.

exactly what Jayden said ^^^

I use the standard for now on my 8830. If I get an extended life battery do I need a different style battery cover?

Stock one for me. I have a charger at work.

Standard battery, will wait till I need to replace this one before getting an extended battery. Then again, that's if I don't jump on the Curve bandwagon.

Standard battery works fine for me

I hear that if you leave it charging for too long, it can burn out or something? It's what I'm afraid of, so I just let it charge for at least an hour or so till the status say it is 100%.

Standard battery that came with the phone and charge it each night.

Same here, standard battery has been doing well now and its been a year.
Its just starting to show a little age. I can still go all day without a charge, but the battery meter drops a little lower by the end of the day.

I love the Seidio battery. A little bit expensive, but it worth it.
