So I get ppl telling me 2 different things regarding battery for my Curve 8330 -
One person says to let it drain fully till its dead then re-charge
Then I get another person telling me it doesn't matter what the batter level is at - charge it every night if I want to as it won't hurt the battery.

Can someone PLEASE help with this and clear up this mystery! thanks!

The battery uses Li-ion technology, no issues with memory but it does not respond well to deep cycles. You maximize the life by keeping it charged regularly.

The factors that limit life are heat and charging current. The higher the charging current, the faster it recharges, but the life expectancy is reduced. The art is finding the optimum middle ground.
