I'm here in Baku, Azerbaijan, and my BlackBerry World Edition won't power up. The battery won't charge. It may be fried. I've checked several cellular phones stores and none has a BlackBerry battery. Is Baku void of any BlackBerry service providers or store outlets?
Looks like you are out of luck. Your nearest over the counter supply will probably be across the border in Turkey. I know its not exactly convenient but its the best I can see.
If you're there for some time with a fixed base (or predictable travel) you could probably order online. I would also get a spare charger (they are fairly cheap) just in case it is faulty and the battery is OK.
