will BB 10 blackberry balance work out of the box or do you need your bb to be hooked up to bes\fusion for that to work? I love the idea of keeping that seperate, but not going to work for me if it needs a bes to work.

I was wondering the same thing. I was hoping to keep my work and personal lives separate as I work for myself and liked the idea of different sides of my life kept on different sides of my phone as well. It's not breaking point in my decision but it is something that I'd like to be able to utilize.

BlackBerry Balance is only available with BlackBerry Enterprise Server. There are weaknesses in the current BlackBerry Balance which allows information to cross the threshold. I evaluated this technology extensively and found the leakage vector. Perhaps BlackBerry Enterprise Server 10 will provide complete segregation between the two realms.

I agree that would great to still be able to keep your personal life and work life separate without needing BES or Fusion. I don't see why you still wouldn't be able to just keep them on two separate perimeters.
