I have a couple of BB Backup files saved that have themes/apps I have since deleted. I haven't tried it, but is it possible to recover one of those themes/apps from the backup files and add them with DM.

Is it a custom theme that you downloaded, or just a modified theme originally on your Curve?

If its custom downloaded you can just install it again after you do the update. As far as the Backup goes, i don't think that you can recover a theme from a simple backup.

On a prior backup, I have a theme I created and one them I found on the web. So I just wondered if I could pull up that backup point and recover those items.

Not sure, but its worth a try. Do a Backup before you restore your old, backup. Just in case.

Do you still have the theme file on your computer? Maybe you can just try D/Ling again.
