As part of my job I go through the daily newspapers, and for the last week or two just about every paper has had one or more BlackBerry 10 adverts! Not from BlackBerry themselves, but from the distributors and carriers - EE, carphone warehouse, phones4u, vodaphone... does anyone know why this is? I have to admit, when I saw the EE adverts for z10 at 20 a month I thought, uh oh, firesale, but for all the companies to be advertising like this it seems more than that. Hopefully.

How are adverts like this arranged? Does BlackBerry pay anything towards these or is it entirely the carrier etc's initiative?

I have been seeing alot more print ads and billboards from BB instead of radio and TV commercials. Maybe they are a better path to sales for bb

Yeah - hopefully this will drive sales. The prices of all the devices have lowered - hopefully that'll help too!

Glad they are still pushing things, I still think they should be doing more interactive ads where the reader scans something and it takes them right to a demonstration, like qr code or something This way you can get any phone user to at least get a demo of the new phone and OS.
