Just curious as to how long people hold on to their phones?

I have a graveyard in my office of old berrys as well as older phones that I no longer use on a day to day basis. Every once in a while I will use the 8700 or my Curve, whether im out on the boat or updating the OS on the Bold.

Guess I am good for about 9 months before I switch, just wondering about everyone else?

My treo lasted almost two years, and my usual dumb phone use time was a couple years, usually new every two took them out of comission.

Unless I sell a phone to go towards another phone, I keep them. I still have two old StarTacs somewhere in a drawer.

The Pearl is my first BB, and it's only about 7 months old.
I've been on the new every two plan for 8 years now, and still have my last two phones each of which went the distance.
I think it's a good practice to keep at least one backup around.

I get like 18 months from a phone. I won't pay for one so it's when my upgrade comes. I can't wait to upgrade in July. Old phones I sell to be recycled and use the money towards my bills.
