Question Australia phone that i want to use in Canada

I recently posted about bringing back a 9900 from Australia when i was there and how it doesnt work on Bell. Is it at all possible to send it away to RIM for them to change it to work with Bell? I know it's a long shot but i thought i'd put it out there. Maybe someone else has been in the same boat as me, with a 9900 or anything else.

Nope. You will either have to sell the device and purchase a new one, or maybe exchange it with someone else who has one they also cannot use.

That's what I was thinking but wasn't 100% sure. Thanks for the clarification.
