    Can I access ATT wifi hotspots from my 8900? ATT site says only from the I-Phone. WHat about other hotspots and how do i do this

    On my 8320 curve I can get on there wi-fi with out a problem so I dont see much of a problem.

    I think it automatically connects with hot spots at least mine does with t-mob I haven't try ed with att in awhile.

    I'm on Tmo and have no problem connecting with an ATT hotspot.

    you need to make sure you have the AT&T hot spot profile in you WIFI config.

    here are the configs

    Name: AT&T WiFi
    SSID: attwifi
    BAND: 802.11 b/g
    Secuirty: None
    and only check mark is Auto IP

    Yes. Wifi works without data. I know a few people who can't afford data so they made sure to get wifi capability.

    hmm i tried accessing an att hotspot at mcdonalds today, it didn't work. I also have data blocked so maybe that is the reason?

    Alot of mcDonalds are no longer FREE hotspots. You have to pay
