asking about gps
hello i dont have a blackberry service or a contract

i believe you have to have a data plan in order to use any of them sorry
Guys/Gals when I post things I am posting to the best of my knowledge if I am for certain incorrect please correct me more knowledge to me helps. Thanks!

Not on a blackberry, because the maps are not stores locally, meaning you need the data plan to access the road information and whatnot.

the actual GPS part will work fine. It will give you your coordinates. But unless you are some kind of Geo Cache-ing whiz kid and can recognize Lat & Long by heart, you will need a program that uses data. But there is a workaround somewhere- there's a link posted on this BBoard about it. A map program that is local on the Berry, I believe.
