I've side loaded. So this question is not about how to get current apps. I am thinking that under current circumstances we really can't expect that instagram, vine etc will come to BlackBerry World. If BlackBerry is going Prosumer do they care if we ever get the popular social apps?

It's easy for me to assume the answer is no but I wonder what you all think.

I agree with this, if BBM becomes hot, I can see Dev's coming around, BBM connected could be a big thing. First thing first let's get it released.

BBM is tied to BlackBerry and that name is not popular right now. People like to be associated with the popular kid, and BlackBerry is the geek at the other table. Fix BlackBerry's reputation and BBM will fly.

If there's money to make, people will do it.

MS gave money to devs, just to entice them to make the apps.

If every BlackBerry user is a super big spender in BlackBerry app world, the big names aren't going to not look away, even if we ended up having to pay for a paid version of their apps. Money talks.

Then again, I think Kevin Michaluk once said to which I agree, that BlackBerry users used to pay hefty sums for apps. Apple Appstore kinda killed it.
