ya you can do it from there or from app loader on dm it will more than likely require you to restart your phone so if you're deleting more than one just hit no until the last one

Yeah. U can get rid of any of the I'm services. Icq,aim, yahoo, googletalk, etc... And then delete the little folder they were hid in. Except for the bbm. Lol

what happens if i delete a core app ( like messanger or browser ) will that screw up the software and if so can i reinstall them .
I don't have a bb plan so i use opera mini to connect to the net and don't need the bb browser

Maybe it's just my BlackBerry 8800 running BlackBerry OS 4.2.1.x, but I'm not allowed to delete the default BlackBerry applications... There's simply no option to do this.

The only default BlackBerry application my BlackBerry 8800 allows me to delete is that password keeper or whatever it is - I don't need this because I use the superior (and free!) KeePass (see SourceForge.net: KeePass for BlackBerry for more information and http://keepassbb.sourceforge.net/ota/keepassbb.jad to download it OTA for free)...

Anyway, the point of my post was that the default applications you all keeping warning people not to delete, can't be deleted on my BlackBerry 8800 and I'm pretty it's the same on my BlackBerry Curve 8300...

I would imagine it's the same for all BlackBerries.
