Flaws in Apple's iOS operating system have been discovered that made it possible to install spyware on a target's device merely by getting them to click on a link.
The discovery was made after a human rights lawyer alerted security researchers to unsolicited text messages he had received.
They discovered three previously unknown flaws within Apple's code.
Apple has since released a software update that addresses the problem.
The two security firms involved, Citizen Lab and Lookout, said they had held back details of the discovery until the fix had been issued.

    Belly laugh!

The ultimate positive thinker himself. Do you ever say anything that isn't some back handed comment? If you hate BlackBerry so much move on man. The stress is going to kill you.

That has been a common refrain around here: wait for some massive security flaw or breach to happen on iOS or Android so people run into the arms of BlackBerry.

Yep for nine years I seen the posts here on CrackBerry about how bad iOS or Android are when it comes to security. And for nine years I've watched both get better and better when it comes to security. Nine years ago everyone laughed at the idea of either being used in the business world and especially in Government.

Is it any wonder some of us have grown tired of these threads that point out flaws in other platforms.... and give some a "belly laugh". It's like being in a race and laughing when some guy trips and almost falls, while you are sitting on the side of the track with two broken legs.
    MikeX74 and TGR1 like this.

Not to mention Apple will probably patch it quickly and push it out fast directly to consumers.
