I was going through my iPhone5, trying to determine what apps I would need for a clean Transition to BB10. I haven't had a BB device in about 5 years.

Can anyone tell me if the following apps exist for BB. And I do mean apps, not glorified shortcuts to the mobile web page. If the app is not present, what is the best equivalent?

Netfilx -- Not on BB.
Vevo -- Never used it .
Pandora- Yes,but I don't have it.
Instagram - know the answer to this one.
Spotify - Yes.
Facebook - Yes.
Gmail - Yes.
Google Search ..umm there are a few in App World.
Flipboard- Never used it.
Youtube- Yes, comes native.

Netfilx - nfb films, snagfilms, crackle (sideload or browser), video store, idfc (indonesia)
Vevo- Vevo
Pandora
Instagram - know the answer to this one.> I know you wanted apps. but did you know that if someone shares instagram pictures with you that you can display instagram pictures on playbook now as it has web access. You need to have instagram account already as you can't create one from the web interface.

Has there been any definitive word on being able to side load android apps into BB10?

That would be a huge life saver for iOS converts like myself that are accustomed to lavish app support.
