    Doing a full backup on DM also backs up your bbm contacts.

    Yes as stated previously a back up via Desktop Manager will back up BBM contacts as well as all the other.

    can i restore just the bbm contact in desktop manager?

    any other way to backup cos if dont use desktop manager?

    That I'm not sure of. I don't think you can select what you want to restore unless there is a hack out there for it but I could be wrong.

    You can also add the bbm contact directly to your list of contacts (addresses) through the pin.

    Sorry I wasn't clear. Click on the contact in bbm, click on the bb symbol and scroll to "contact info". Click on the contact's pin and a message should pop up with "add to contacts" as one of the options.
