I went to linkedin and typed in RIM in the job search area and 52 job openings came up. So there must have been a mad exodus (whether employees quitting or being let go) when the Co-CEO's stepped down and RIM is trying bringing in new blood.

There's something like 15,000+ employees at RIM even after layoffs... 52 openings doesn't sound out of the ordinary.

Was one of the listings for a CMO?

I think RIM is expanding in the Ottawa area, probably need more people.
