Is there any way to load your own or other freely downloaded GPS maps to the Blackberry for display on the GPS.

I do this all the time on my Garmin unit as I often travel overseas where commercial maps are not available.

Thanks for the reply but I am looking for something that does not rely on creating maps using Google maps for import to the software.

Google road maps are incomplete for the country(s) I need.

The best option I see from the link you sent is We-Travel but BB version is not complete as yet.

Specifically I need to be able to convert and import freely available Garmin compatible maps into the BB for GPS routing without relying on a data plan as coverage is usually non existent in the areas in question.

I thought I remember reading that one of the Non-data programs may have had additional support to convert garmin maps but there's so many threads and I may not be recalling correctly. Maybe it was trekbuddy????
