Basically sending live electricity wirelessly to charge a device?
Maybe when power lines become extinct will that happen. - 09-27-2009, 04:52 PM #10

Technology is just becoming available. Look up on youtube a presentation by m.i.t. About "witicity" they actually charge up a tv and phones wirelessly. Technology is there its just about making it affordable and practical.

OMG GUYS! I found a way to make any blackberry keep a charge (not charge it) using NOTHING!
Bare with me, this is complicated.
Step 1: Pull the back off your blackberry.
Step 2: Set down the cover (to avoid accidental of dropping of the phone)
Step 3: Take out the battery
Step 4: Set down the battery
Step 5: Pick up the cover
Step 6: Put the cover on the phone.
AND LOOKY THERE! You're battery will (almost) never die again (not for a veeeery llooooong time at least) - 09-27-2009, 08:12 PM #19
Wait, could it be possible to charge a phone using radiation?

As I'm sure you figured out from other responses you can't charge using bluetooth. If you're looking to charge "wirelessly" you may want to check this out WildCharge PowerDisc Bundle with PowerLinks
I can't guarantee it will work but its worth checking out

google fulton innovations and look at their ecoupled technology. This is a company in my hoe town and a subsidiary of AmWay. they currently have the capability to wirelessly charge and power devices due to magnetic and fields. they have a video of them wirelessly charging an Iphone and some other devices. it's there, it just needs to be marketed.
