I bought my curve from them in May and got the 1200 minute Smart Choice plan with Alltel.

Only thing that sucks is I'm not using anywhere close to 1200 minutes with 10 my circle #'s and really need to downgrade to the 500 minute Smart Choice.

Additional Details

According to them though, I'll be charged 300 bucks if I downgrade within 181 days.

Only problem is, 181 days is past the date when I will be migrated to Verizon and can't change to the Smart Choice 500 plan.


If I want to stay with an Alltel plan I'll be stuck with the 109 dollar plan that I don't need forever.

Anyone have experience with these guys and if I lower my plan if they REALLY will charge me 300 bucks?

I talked with Alltel and they told me they'd have no way of knowing if I changed my plan, but I'm unsure.
