Hey I was wondering if anybody knew if it is safe to use a android banking app from google play I don't know if I should trust it with my personal information a reply would be awesome

If it's from Google play store it should be safe.
The danger comes when you get the apk from a sketchy source or its been converted to a .bar for you already since you don't know what may have been added or changed in the the code such as a backdoor.

Thanks for the replys I know there are a few ways to download android apps and the way I do it is copy and paste the url page and then go onto a apk downloader is that source safe

I've been using the Android version of the CIBC app (Canadian bank) for the additional functionality it provides with no issues.

I've been using two from the Amazon app store and I've had no issues. I think it's safe.

for example:
