I saw the Upcoming Blackberry 10 Os and well all i can say is that it might just bring me back to RIM. I see how RIM wanted to solve its lack of apps by integrating an android player; however from what i have seen on the internet in order to do load the android app onto the device you need a PC, i own a Mac, and to have rooted the device. I am no computer teck so my question is when the new devices come out will it be as simple as opening and Google play store and just downloading the android apps or is there a more complex procedure???

    thnks

There are android apps in app world that the developers have converted and submitted, you just can't tell it is an android app until after installing and opening it. I don't know about side loading on a mac but you don't have to root to side load. Not all side loaded apps work or work real well but some do.
