I think amazon will make a native app because they will be closely working with BlackBerry.

IF a native appstore happens, then it's only because Blackberry agreed to develop it themselves.

It's no longer news that Amazon app store is coming to BlackBerry 10. The OP is simply stating that a natively built Amazon app store would be better. So why are you suggesting getting an android device? Is it the OP's fault that BB supports android apps, or was it the OP that entered into a partnership with Amazon? Your comment is irrelevant to this thread.

I'm afraid that BlackBerry is maybe already building one.
As for twitter, Facebook and the likes.
(even if I hope that amazon build it themself).

I think the whole point of this deal is to use android apps, if they have to build a native app, they're basically saying that the runtime isn't good enough.

Maybe the announced partnership includes the launch of a native app when 10.3 is released?

And if so, good. Because the design of the Amazon store is pretty rubbish. BBW is a much better format.

Did he? Oh that'd be great if so - and it would mean they would have to design natively to do it too.

I think that Amazon should approach the Dev of "Snap" and make "Snap" their official Amazon Store app.
Ofcourse, they can add more features and change the name.

Because it doesn't have BB10.....contrary to popular belief, the OS is a huge part of a mobile device. Apps then play a significant roll for some and a lesser role for others. I want the BB10 baked in experience, the stability of the z30, the security etc, then all the apps. Soon we will have it all basically. I don't want the bloat ware associated with android and Google devices.

No, native apps run differently and use gesture in a consistent manner. Also specialty apps, probably won't ever be written native until BB10 gains huge market share.

It isn't for some. Are they saying native isn't working too? I guess so.

This is a quote from a BlackBerry Blog article:

"The partnership will result in the Amazon Appstore running as a native BlackBerry app, with a greatly simplified interface and streamlined user experience."

Hopefully 'native' means just that and not 'native' as in it comes with the device.

90% of my phone use relies on awesome BB10 software: calling, texting, BBM, email, using the browser, music. Apps are maybe 10%. If I have to use an android app store for that 10% that's fine with me. I still choose BB10 as my platform.
