The Amazon Fire borrowed the design from the PlayBook. So, in a twist, will the next BB10 phone borrow from the Fire Phone?

In particular, it would be nice to have the Fire Phone's camera...

If the manufacturing for the Fire Phone is being done by Foxconn, or some other company that has a mutual relationship with BlackBerry and Amazon, perhaps BlackBerry can leverage from shared volume parts?

Not sure that BB is going to get much from the fire phone. Time will tell!

Actually, both the Playbook and the Fire tablet were just slightly different versions of Quanta Computer's reference tablet design (Quanta was the manufacturer of both tablets). Neither BB nor Amazon did much "design" work; they just decided which components would be inside and Quanta took it from there.
