So while looking at my blinking red LED light - i was thinking:

Wouldn't it be cool if instead of a blinking LED, you had a small dedicated notification OLED display instead - something maybe 32x32 pixels and about 5mm x 5mm to display an icon or a something instead? It can flash to use minimal power - and provide message counts, text/email/voicemail icons.

Just a thought - what do you think?

I'm not sure why they removed the Glowing LED feature which was pretty sleek.

i love the idea...reminds me of the top screen of the Pearl Flip, but much smaller. don't need to see all the details, just the type of alert that came in.
