you should be able to use gps google maps telenav and any 3rd party app you can find!! If not call 1-800-alltel-1 from another phone and ask for advanced data tech support

My GPS on my Alltel curve is not locked. For some reason though, I have to run BB Maps before any other 3rd party application will work.

Check the guide linked in my sig. It will apply network settings for your carrier and fix the GPS. This worked fantastic on my 8330 alltel curve and other users have had success as well.

I'd like the guide to appear in every forum for bb models but I doubt it can happen. I knew this would happen and people would only go to their model's forum instead of looking at the GPS & Mapping section to fix their GPS.
