I bought the oem official BlackBerry case for my original passport. And the corners scratched my phone. It made scuff marks.

So I decided to put a tpu silicone case on my new se edition thinking that the nonslipping wouldn't scratch it. After a couple weeks of use, the debris, dirt or whatever would get trapped inside the case and made scuff marks on my se edition.. So annoyed. The buttons wore off too and this is the fact that I took it off everyday to clean it. Anyone else experience this?

I'm guessing the best way is to just leave your phone naked...

There's white scuff marks on the buttons too. It's not as shiny.

I feel your pain! I hate when cases do this. A Casemate case badly scuffed the bezel on my Q10. I was so sad. Cases are meant to provide protection so it's very disappointing when they actually damage the case.

So far I have had good luck with the OEM cases I have used. Knock on wood.

I've heard of that happening to many others devices too. I use a genuine hard shell case for my passport and it looks like they ended up recently putting a softer material or tape on the corners of the case to most likely prevent scratching and scuffing from happening. That is pretty sad though that some cases which are meant to protect the phone- end up ultimately doing damage themselves.

The OEM flip case for the Z10 had issues too. It fit very tight and some people said it cracked their screen when they tried to take it out. Thankfully that was not my experience. But it was a tight fit for sure.

My Tetded flip cases have yielded no scratches, no damage to my Passport. Pretty soft inside.

The flip case I had my Z10 in scratched it up also. That one was OEM.
