    I have several users (8700 and 8310 Curve) that complain that after their battery gets too low, the device shuts off and even after charging overnight, the device will not come back on until they remove the battery and put it back in. Anyone else ever experience this or know why this is happening? I have given several of them a new battery and the samething happens.

    Yeah, I get that sometimes. If the device is completely dead it won't power on by itself, needs a batt pull.
