    The OP brings up an important issue.

    Will BlackBerry spend the money and hire professionals to market this phone, or will they replicate their "strategy" of silence a la Passport, Z30, and Classic? According to the phone's official name and recent graphic design, I'm assuming there will not be much.

    BlackBerry don't even know how to market at this point. It's been so long that they literally don't have a clue. And lacking resources is a lame and untrue excuse. Not to mention, they already seem to be betting the farm on this one!

    Last great ad was the one with U2.... used in theaters and on tv...otherwise, I don't think I've ever seen any other. People know about the Priv because we are looking for updates. The average user has not one clue it exists.

    I don't think this is to do with the BlackBerry Priv as there's an app called Priv so could be that she if referring to.
