I have backups of my BB Curve with Rogers, which I am trying to use to restore data onto my unlocked BB Pearl (originally from Rogers, using with Fido).

Address book is not restoring... I get my pictures back, my rings back, my notes back on the new Pearl, but absolutely no address book contacts.

I have tried different backup files just in case, it won't work. The phone works fine, making and receiving calls.

Any ideas?

That is strange, have you tried using Advanced Restore?

It allows you to select individual databases for restore.

I get my pictures back, my rings back, my notes ...

Just a thought, these are usually saved on a media card. Did you swap the card into the new device?
