    Hello. I got a new bb pearl and am having trouble adding my old blackberry email account. (phone was fried and nothing was saved to my memory card) In set up I tried to add the old one but it says it's in use already. Well, it is bc it's me but I can't figure out how to get it back on my phone. Friends keep telling me that their emails are returned stating that my email@blackberry.net acct is the one returning it. I'm really getting my emails from my other acct that is copied to my phone but they are getting annoyed with the returned emails. Plus, my blackberry email gets my home emails faster.

    Anyways, how do I add my old acct back to my new phone? Hope this made sense. I am tired!

    You need to change the device information. You can do this from the BIS web site or by calling your carrier and giving them your new PIN.

    You probably need to go to your provider's BIS website and change the device details associated with the email accounts. There should be a "Change Device" option in the left sidebar menu. Then check you have the emails configured correctly.

    I hope you didn't simply create a (second) complete new BIS account for the new phone.
