Well the time has come and I have decided to spoil myself w/my first Blackberry! Over the past three ::wonderful:: days I have come to realize that I am not spoiling myself w/a new toy, rather spoiling myself w/a new friend!! I find myself checking my Blackberry Pearl about every 10 minutes (literally); whether I am home or at work (that worries me)!! Will this Blackberry attachment subside after the "newness" wears off... or will it only get worse?!
LMAO! I totally agree! I just got mine last weekend and it's become another limb! I don't even leave my desk without taking it with me...I know, crazy right?
I HOPE it's just the newness, like when a little kid gets a new toy?
My reserve unit was activated, and I was in a location for 3 weeks that didn't allow cell phones. I just about went crazy I found myself thinking about my curve every single day. The first thing I wanted when I got back was my phone even before my woman. Man I need help.
::ahh:: After these replies I may need to forwarn my friends and family that they may need to start thinking about an intervention in the future! At least I will alway have my new friend Pearl...
I can honestly say the novelty of a blackberry wears off. Unless you need it for blackberry specific things, the phone itself is just meh. After having it for a year I realize that the only reason I use the web or bbm is only cause I have them. Only real thing holding me here is the gps but even that is mediocre at best.

just a phone or not, ive been a BlackBerry Addict for 2 years, and the novelty hasn't worn off.... its only just begun. They keep gettin better and better.
I disagree somewhat. I just got complimented by my bosses as to how I use my BlackBerry. I couldn't be this organized with any phone. However, do I need to stand in line to get the new Storm? No, I like what I have and don't need the must have new BlackBerry. So I love the BlackBerry and what it can do but not obsessed by it.
Does this make sense? Lol
