    Hi everyone. I'm about to activate my new Evo and I was wondering if there was anything special I needed to do to disable my BB so that I could either resell it or recycle. Do I need to disconnect myself from the BB network somehow? Or just delete all my personal information on the phone itself?

    A phone wipe is all that is really needed.

    Log on to your BIS from a computer and delete all your email addresses.

    Then contact your carrier and have them remove the device from your account so that the PIN will be released.

    I tried accessing my BIS account but it popped up a message saying it was already disabled. So I didn't get to change anything, but I suppose the fact that it's no longer active is good, right?

    And yeah, the device is not on my account because the Evo replaced it.
