I was lost in the country, I opened maps and bamb. It opened to exactly where I was. NOW a few weeks later I can't get it to work. Apparently I have BBmaps...though it continually gives me an exception error. When I go to advanced options/GPS it says none.

How could it function so well when I was lost and now I can't get it to work?

I didn't know that the T Mobile BB's had GPS. I thought that they just came with WiFi.

You can add a bluetooth GPS receiver to any bluetooth capable phone.

Or they could have picked up cell tower to give a nearby location of where they were.
