    so im interested in the 9720 in the states but does anyone have any insights into when this device might be out?

    It does have AT&T UMTS compatible bands, but I'm not sure if AT&T or any other carriers would be willing to carry a non-LTE phone at this point.

    My recommendation is to get a 9790 instead, which is a beautiful device. Best of all though is the 9900.
