So the other day my girlfriend and I were trying to connect via bluetooth, because she didn't know she could. We enabled it, searched for devices, and our phones detected our friend's Motorola, another person's headset and another individual's Pearl. But our phones didn't recognize one another. We tried again at my house, and our phones detected my headset, but still, our phones won't work? Any reason why? It doesn't make sense to me that she and I can be on the subway and we'll detect 10 other devices except one another's.

    Help!

You have to make sure that your BlackBerry 8320 is on Discoverable, otherwise it won't be searchable. So to go Manage Connections > Bluetooth Options > [Menu] button > Options > Discoverable = Yes

Make sure you both know each other's numeric passkey.

If you don't know or have not assigned a passkey, try to input the same number on both devices when it asked for the passkey. That should take care of that.
