    i've got the verizon pearl and looking to switch to 8830; i like the full qwerty of the 8830. but i don't think i can give up the newer/smoother software and interface of the 8130 to justify it.

    does the software update for the 8830 fix this issue?

    Only the 8130, 8820, and 8330 currently have OS 4.3. All other models are 4.2.
