so, i updated the other day......

originally, i had a huge problem, wherein....

i keep about 100 mp3s on a SIM card every month.
now, OCD DEMANDS that i cycle through all of em (takes about a week).
and it was resetting every time i set the phone down for more than 10 minutes (next time i pick it up, the only option is to start playing "all songs" over again).

figured out finally that if i set "close media player when inactive" to "off" and untick "allow mute and volume keys to control play, pause and skip" (for assurance. i was having clumsy fingers that kept screwing it up), no problem.
it saved the position of the last song i paused and, when turning off at night, it remembered the song i was on when i turned it on in the morning.

but since the update, it's been really sketchy.

every morning i have to start all over, and during the day, only HALF the time does it remember the player state after i pause it and set it down for more than 10 minutes.

so, question is... are there any ways around this?
or alternatively, can someone recommend a good mp3 player app that will (remember the player state)?
