    I have been running .247 for the past few days. Overall, I really like this build. Browsing is faster, memory leak is less and battery life has improve by a slight bit.

    However, I have been having problems with my GPS not locking on either in BB Maps or Google Maps while I'm indoor. I have not had a problem with the GPS in the last 5 OS I have installed.

    This morning "playing" with it, I made an interesting discovery. The GPS would not lock on with 3G but once I switch over to Edge it locks on right away.

    I wonder if those of you who are having problem with .247 GPS could do this little experiment to see if it does the same on your phone too.

    Have you tried just refreshing the GPS without using a map program? Options>Advanced Options>GPS.

    i think 3g is less reliable in consistency then EDGE in general...i have more dropped calls with 3g then i did with my 8700 running EDGE. i doubt its my OS cuz ive had 3 diferent OS and still get dropped calls in certain places with 3G which i didnt get with my 8700. Its still new..im sure it will get better with time.

    Yes, I have. Again, it real slow in refreshing in 3G and a non issue in Edge.

    I wish I could help. I had the problem with GPS and .247, but I'm on ATT and can't control 2G/3G. I've since rolled back to .237

    hopefully whatever is after .247 will correct this problem.

    Gimik, since overall I do prefer .247 over .237 I'm going to live with this annoyance for now.
