futureshop currently has a sale of activate a new 3 years plan and get a 200$ gift card. i currently have 1 year left starting jan 7 and the promotion is only until 27.
1. would the rogers there let me upgrade a week earilier ?
2. and anyone know if this promotion includes upgrading and adding another 3 year on top of my 1 year?

I know, with US Cellular, I had a month left on my contact, but still wanted to take advantage of their free phone offer. They let me buy out the remaining month. So, although I didn't really get my new phone for free, it only cost me $28 to upgrade early. If I waited for the sale to be over, I'd have paid $200 for the same phone.
I don't know if your cartier does the same thing, but it may be worth calling them to find out.
Oh I saw that deal right in the flyer. I don't know how it works, but I'm picking it up tomorrow to give as a gift. Keeping the gift card for myself though :P
