It will only try to install the correct OS, so no need to worry there.

Yeah, back to $50 :-( Wow I was going to order it, but my g/f messed me up, by calling me and talking to me for about a half an hour.

Where are you from? East coast? I just went to the AT&T site and it still says $0.00 but then again I'm in NV.

There are probably some deeper issues here that need to be addressed at some point.

You probably like your 8300, but what happens if that svelte 8310 starts tugging at your heart strings?

You're probably thinking, "I'm a full Qwerty man, and the 8310 is Sure Type"; "Yeah, it's a newer model, with features mine doesn't have, but I'm satisfied with my Berry"; maybe even "It doesn't matter what kind of goody package the 8310 has, I'm a Curve man".

Here are some signs trouble is on the horizon. If you see two or more of these, get some help quick!

    1. You find yourself stealing glances at the 8310 when your wife uses it.
    2. When no one is looking, you touch it, maybe even pick it up.
    3. You find yourself reading the 8310 users book...in the throne room.
    4. You and the wife go out, and you forward your number to the 8310 and leave the 8300 at home!
    5. You keep asking your wife to let you use the wi-fi on the 8310, "just to see how it works".
    6. You begin to get the impression that "everyone has a new 8310".
    7. You find a new micro scratch on your 8300 display....and you don't care!
    8. You find yourself hanging out in your carrier's store fronts, at the 8310 display, for no apparent reason.
    9. You notice every 8310 ad in the Sunday paper.
    10. This is perhaps the worst one; your wife starts making comments about how her 8310 is so much better than your old 8300.

You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

I do hope and pray that you offer an apology for blatantly accusing this gentleman of offering something of which he didn't do. He did say that he is getting his Lovely Wife a Curve (8310)

My Wife and I each have an 8130, I use the BB Manager for both. It recognizes the different pins. I have 2 separate folders in my documents to back them up into, one for myself and one for my Wife.
