1st BB - question about BB email acc't.

Good afternoon! I just got my 1st BB last night and am trying to figure things out. I am working my way through the BB 101 lessons (awesome help so far!) and have a question about Lesson 4. It discusses setting up a BB email account, which I did, but I am not sure why I had to do that!

Last night I set things up to go to my BB from the mail email account that I use at home. Things were coming in fine, so perhaps I don't need the [email protected] one?

If anyone could enlighten me, I'd be thankful!

Correct you don't need the provider email, but you can keep it and then use it sparingly, for people who you don't want to know your real email, or for signing up to sites that require an email. You can have up to 10 emails on your BB. I'm using 9 myself. ;)
