Hello.
I have a BB P'9982 and I like to know when my Batter is %100 charge and then I plug the charger to it then what happened? New cell phones disconnect the charger automatically for stop hurting Battery. How about my BlackBerry?

Afaik, Porsche 9982 is based on Z10. I'd expect its charge controller to be at least as good or better than my company's dozens of 9900/9930s that still stay on charge pretty much 24/7. Which means, no worries, no harm done by leaving it plugged in all the time. Imo. Charge controller will take care of its battery as efficiently as on any other modern phone. (Excluding Samsung. Lol)

Your battery is probably several years old and might be showing signs of weakness, tho. If it's like Z10, removing and replacing battery should be super user easy, if battery is now getting weak?

I've been hotspotting off a Z10 for two years. The battery was swollen to twice its thickness after that...

The Q10 swelled up in 6 months or less on hotspot... it's huge, and I'm gonna buy a new one asap.

The battery will somehow suffer. But hotspotting causes huge power draw. Different from regular use. But hey, on phone with a cheap replaceable battery this should be a minor worry...

Interesting. Are you saying you are hotspotting with charger plugged in 24/7? We have quite a few on various chargers 24/7 with no problems but none are hotspotting any length of time. If that's what you mean, it's good to know there might be an issue there.

We toss batteries showing any signs of swelling. De-lamination creates thermal "hot spots" inside. Lol.
