Decided to make a positive thread about things I like about RIM. Didn't have and difficulty making a list of ten but thought Id stop there and I did it in a rough hierarchy.
What do you like about RIM? What do you think of my list?Last edited by hurds; 03-22-2012 at 09:52 PM.
BB10: possibly the most disruptive innovation in tech we've yet to see.
RIM is on their way to 'coming-back', although I don't see it as a comeback. I see it as RIM going through a well-managed transition.- hurds (11/4/12) reply: "one of the craziest, most delusional fanboy statements I've ever seen on the Internet. That's a good list, I'd say you're spot on with some of the good things that RIM has going for them.
Their challenge is going to be putting all those parts (and more) together to build a mobile platform and an accompanying ecosystem so that they can once again challenge the top dogs in the North American consumer market. - 03-21-2012, 11:51 PM

Thanks. I agree with you about the challenge of putting it all together and producing something for the North American market.
I've never really liked the term ecosystem since its so ambiguous but thay may have an advantage in not having a fully closed system. I know on my bb phone there are multiple music stores to choose from. Competition is good for the consumer and only having one avenue to purchase content doesnt provide competition. But I guess it still remains to be seen what route RIM takes with BB10.BB10: possibly the most disruptive innovation in tech we've yet to see.

I like this thread...positive, so far free from naysaying posters who bring nothing but bag's 'o dung and demogoguery to the table; factually accurate, and to the point. 5 star thread hurds....thank you.
