Decided to make a positive thread about things I like about RIM. Didn't have and difficulty making a list of ten but thought Id stop there and I did it in a rough hierarchy.
What do you like about RIM? What do you think of my list?

That's a good list, I'd say you're spot on with some of the good things that RIM has going for them.
Their challenge is going to be putting all those parts (and more) together to build a mobile platform and an accompanying ecosystem so that they can once again challenge the top dogs in the North American consumer market.
Thanks. I agree with you about the challenge of putting it all together and producing something for the North American market.
I've never really liked the term ecosystem since its so ambiguous but thay may have an advantage in not having a fully closed system. I know on my bb phone there are multiple music stores to choose from. Competition is good for the consumer and only having one avenue to purchase content doesnt provide competition. But I guess it still remains to be seen what route RIM takes with BB10.

4.bridge to Playbook
7.North American Factories (Canada, Mexico) equals local jobs
9.Security, security, security (I'm talking about Google's intrusiveness and the Android Apps reporting info to who knows who. I'm not paranoid. I have spoken to two IT Security Mgrs. who initially approved Android and are seeing breeches, Google also hacked AOi browser leaving their security questionable as well.
Let me add, I think Crackberry Users should puchase RIM stock and vote as a block!
