Will VPN support be improved in the new 10.3 OS?

I currently have an account with Private Internet Access and I'm frustrated that I can't hook it up with my BB10.

I am surprised that so many other people use PIA.

I'm running a 10.3 leak using the VPNme service from BlackBerry App World. It's working great and I like that the payment can be done as an in-app purchase.

I also tried the 3-day trial of PureVPN since so many in the forums have recommended it. Unfortunately, it would only connect for me over cellular network, but not over wifi. Maybe it's a wrong setting I had or just due to it being a leaked OS.

Hopefully there will be support for Openvpn in the official release of 10.3

Still waiting for Cisco Anyconnect. Unfortunately my IT department eliminated the BES server and went with a hodgepodge of MDM software that is comically complex and frustrating to use.

Until Anyconnect makes a native client for BlackBerry 10 I'm not able to get native email access and have to resort to bizarre workarounds.

Yeah, it's a shame there is still no Anyconnect support, I even read a promise somewhere that it would come (can't remember if from Cisco or BlackBerry) which makes it even more disappointing

    Check PureVPN they support BB
With VPNs it's often not the matter of what you want, but whatever the place you're in provides.

BlackBerry should give us S/MIME and PGP capabilities!

Have been using 12VPN (based in Hong Kong) for a week on my Q10. Working well and their mobile plan is just $30USD a year.

Also tried the VPNME from BlackBerry app World. Worked well, but it seems to be U.S. based and it's probably best to use a VPN service that is not a company based in the same country you reside in or visit often. Not paranoid, just prudent, I think lol.

I hope openvpn support comes also.

Have tried airvpn (based out of Malta, EFF members and very highly recommended by them - and willing to burn and run if needed... Not that I'm paranoid) and that worked great - just not with bb10, as openvpn used! I hail around another device for that b hope 10.3 brings this support, and then I'm feature complete!!!!
